1,Inadequate quality or failure of sealant: The use of inferior butyl rubber (for internal sealing) or silicone sealant (for external sealing) results in poor UV resistance or weak adhesion.
2,Discontinuous adhesive layer: During production, the adhesive is applied unevenly, leaving tiny pores (pinpricks) through which moisture can penetrate over time.
3,Aging: Due to prolonged use, the sealant has aged and cracked, losing its elasticity.
4,Quality issue: The water absorption rate of the desiccant itself fails to meet the standard.
5,Insufficient filling amount: During production, the amount of desiccant filled was too small in an attempt to save money.
6,Exposure saturation: If there is slight leakage in the sealant, the desiccant will continue to absorb water until it reaches "saturation", after which the incoming moisture will condense into fog when the glass cools down.
7,When manufacturing insulating glass, if the environmental humidity is too high (such as working on rainy days) and effective dehumidification is not carried out, the moisture in the air will be trapped inside the glass, which will become apparent when the temperature drops.
8,Uneven stress during installation, or thermal expansion and contraction caused by excessive temperature differences, can lead to the sealing adhesive layer at the edge of the glass being pulled apart.
